Happy 2019!  Having an excellent selection of new, unusual, and garden plant favorites is always a priority at Sunnypoint!  LOTS of selection means LOTS of choices and possibilities to create AMAZING GARDENS!  Check out the picture slide shows to see the many "What's New!" plants at Sunnypoint Gardens® for 2019!

In annuals, fun & unique bi-color blooms are all the rage this spring season & a super easy way to make a fun statement in containers and baskets.  Proven Winners® "Supberbells Holy Smokes", and "Supertunia Lovie Dovie" plus thunbergia "Tangerine A-PEEL" and portulaca "Colorblast Double Guava" are just a few of the many new bi-color selections at Sunnypoint in 2019!   Plus, we'll be featuring plenty of new, colorful varieties of coleus, a fun, new silver foliage plant called Senecio "Angel Wings, and a fragrant begonia.   Looking for a flowering trailer with can handle the mid-summer heat?  Try Proven Winners® new "Angelface® Cascade Series" angelonias with excellent vigor & large blooms plus better heat & humidity tolerance to replace the nemesias, diascias, and lobelias that wane in summer's heat.

Succulents continue their massive popularity in 2019, & this season we'll be "Mad about Mangave" at Sunnypoint!  Called "a happy accident," these fun plants are a hybrid cross of agave & manfreda plants.  Architecturally interesting, these super-sized plants are less water sensitive than traditional succulents, giving gardeners even more options for mixing these cool plants in combination with traditional garden plants.

In perennials, Sunnypoint will be adding many new-to-the-market varieties to our already large perennial inventory this season.  The popular bi-color trend continues in the sunny perennial garden with new selections like "City Lights" bearded iris, "EveryDaylily Red Ribs"     daylily, "Desert Eve Series" yarrows and "Butterfly Yellow Rainbow Marcella" echinacea.    Plus, plenty of gorgeous of new shades of Heuchera will lead the way for new selections in the shade garden for this season's hottest foliage trend picks.  Creating a perennial garden with lots of variety, textures and color will be a breeze!

We are also very excited to again expand our selection of shrubs, evergreens, and trees in 2019.  Low maintenance, smaller space dwarf sizes, plus unique color and exceptional flower power are the latest shrub landscape trends. New selections like Proven Winners® "Pugster Series" Butterfly Bushes, "Winecraft Black" Smokebush, "Invincibelle Series" hydrangeas and "Czechmark Series" weigelas match these garden trends and will add gorgeous landscape interest!  All our shrubs, evergreens, and trees are manageably-sized and perfect for the "plant it yourself" gardener.  These plants are mature enough for instant garden impact but not so big that a large piece of equipment is required to plant it!
